OPERATIONS All NOAA P-3 and G-IV flights have been canceled into Emily. Emily has degenerated and is no longer an interest for operational missions.
G-IV synoptic surveillance mission – TS Emily
The G-IV is scheduled for a synoptic surveillance mission today with a take-off time of 1730Z. The G-IV will target the weakness in the ridge northwest of the storm as well fly around Emily. Another mission is scheduled for tomorrow. Here is the flight track.
