The G-IV took off this morning at 0530 UTC to fly around Irene and also sample the weakness in the ridge NW of Irene. NOAA43 will take off this morning at 0800 UTC to fly a TDR mission into Irene. Below are the flights.

This afternoon the G-IV will fly to sample the weakness in the ridge north of Irene as well as an upper trough in the Gulf of America. The G-IV is scheduled to take off at 1730Z. NOAA42 will fly a TDR mission this afternoon. Take-off time is 20Z. Attached are both flight tracks.
