NOAA’s Hurricane Hunter Aircraft and Field Program exhibited at the Miami Science Museum

The Miami Science Museum will host “Feel the Force: Hurricanes and Other Hazards” on Saturday, June 1st from 10 AM to 6 PM. Florida International University’s International Hurricane Research Center and Miami-Dade County Emergency Management Department have joined forces to deliver a full day of activities and speakers to help get you ready for protecting yourself and your house this hurricane season. The exhibit includes a nose cone replica of the NOAA P-3 aircraft, a display on 1992 Hurricane Andrew’s impact on South Florida and a version of FIU’s Wall of Wind.
Join us as we kick off the start of hurricane season!
