NOAA-42: Plans are for NOAA-42 to begin EMC tasked TDR missions in TD #3 … with the first flight departing from MacDill AFB Friday, July 23, 2010 at 4 PM EDT (2000 UTC). Missions are scheduled to continue on an every 12-hour cycle, with the next mission’s departure Saturday, July 24, 2010 at 4 AM (0800 UTC). Missions to continue on this schedule until the system makes landfall, dissipates, or are halted due to crew rest or maintenance requirements.

G-IV
NOAA-49: The G-IV is currently flying an NHC-tasked synoptic surveillance mission around TD #3. Take off from MacDill AFB was at 1:30 PM EDT (1730 UTC). No HRD personnel are aboard this mission. A follow-on NHC tasked synoptic surveillance mission is scheduled for tomorrow, Friday, July 23, 2010, with take-off from MacDill AFB at 1:30 PM (1730 UTC). No HRD personnel are scheduled to be aboard this mission.
AFRC DRIFT BUOY DEPLOYMENT: No missions scheduled for next 24 h.
