- Rochelle Worsnop (University of Colorado-Boulder) – Power spectrum and spatial coherence of turbulent structures inside an idealized major hurricane
- Chris Landsea (NHC) – Re-analysis of the Atlantic Hurricane Database – Results for 1946 to 1955
