Kwun Yip (Samuel) Fung is a postdoctoral associate currently developing and implementing a scale-aware 3D turbulent kinetic energy scheme to unify numerical modeling for extreme weather studies. He is also working to improve operational wind gust forecast under tropical cyclone conditions.
