NOAA42: N42RF is flying an EMC-tasked Tail Doppler Radar mission into Harvey. This flight took off from Lakeland Linder Regional Airport in Lakeland, FL around 1400 UTC (10 AM ET). Four HRD scientists will be on this flight.
NASA EPOCH-NOAA UAS Global Hawk: The Global Hawk landed at NASA’s Armstrong Research Flight Facility, Edwards, CA around 1400 UTC (10 AM ET).
G-IV: N49RF is tasked by NHC for a synoptic surveillance mission around Tropical Storm Harvey. Takeoff is scheduled for 1730 UTC (1:30 PM ET) from Lakeland, FL and returning there eight hours later.
