Bayden Willms joins OCED as a NGI/Mississippi State University Research Engineer I. Bayden is a software engineer who will work with Luke Thompson’s group to develop a database and web portal (codename: Opal) for environmental DNA observations and associated environmental data. Bayden recently received his BS in Computer Engineering from the University of Miami, where he focused on software engineering.

Research Engineer with the ‘Omics research group at NOAA’s Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory.
