ADEOS 1997 sondes

The Japanese ADvanced Earth Observing Satellite (ADEOS) was launched in August 1996 to provide a platform for a multinational host of environmental sensors. Part of the project involved NOAA P-3 aircraft launching dropsondes over the ocean to provide 'ground truth' for these sensors.

Below are listings of sonde data from NOAA aircraft as part of the ADEOS mission.
