Rob Rogers appointed Editor of the Journal of Geophysical Research – Atmospheres

Dr. Robert Rogers has been appointed Editor of the Journal of Geophysical Research – Atmospheres beginning in December 2020. The journal, from the American Geophysical Union (AGU), publishes original research articles on properties of the atmosphere and processes in the atmosphere, including the interaction of the atmosphere with other parts of the Earth system and their roles in climate variability and change. As Editor, Rob will review papers and have the ability to accept or reject papers within the policies and standards established for the journal. AGU relies on the expertise of its editors to help attract new and interesting research to JGR-Atmospheres. Rob will play a critical role in assuring that the journal continues to be one of the most important in its field and that it serves the needs of authors and readers.
