NOAA43: Is scheduled to fly a NESDIS Ocean Winds and Rain Experiment into Tropical Storm Gabrielle. The purpose of this flight is to collect data with the Imaging Wind and Rain Airborne Profiler instrument. No HRD scientists will be on this flight. Take off time is scheduled for 1900 UTC (3PM Eastern) from St. Croix and will recover back there eight hours later.
