G-IV: Was scheduled to fly a synoptic surveillance mission around Matthew with a take off time of 0530 UTC (1:30AM Eastern). This flight was cancelled. The G-IV is down for maintenance.
NOAA43: Was scheduled to fly a Tail Doppler Radar mission into Matthew. Flight plans changed therefore NOAA43 flew a synoptic surveillance mission with a take off was around 0530 UTC (1:30AM Eastern) to and from MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, FL. Three HRD scientists were on this flight.
G-IV: If the G-IV is fit to fly it will fly a synoptic surveillance mission around Matthew. Take off is scheduled for 0530 UTC (1:30AM Eastern) to and from MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, FL. No HRD scientists will be on this flight.
NOAA43: Is scheduled fly a Tail Doppler Radar mission into Matthew. Take off is scheduled for 1800 UTC (2:00PM Eastern) to and from MacDill Air Force Base, Tampa, FL. IF the G-IV is not available to fly the P3 will perform the synoptic surveillance mission with a take off time of 1:30PM (1730 UTC). Two HRD scientists will be on this flight.
Global Hawk: Is scheduled to fly a mission over Matthew. Take off is scheduled for 0200 UTC (10:00PM Eastern) from NASA’s Armstrong Research Flight Facility, Edwards, CA. This flight is part of NOAA’s Sensing Hazards with Operational Unmanned Technology (SHOUT) field campaign.
