NOAA42: The NOAA/NCEP/Environmental Modeling Center (EMC) has tasked for possible operational missions into AL91, currently located north of Cuba. The first mission would take off from Lakeland, FL at 4:30 PM EDT tomorrow, Monday, Sept. 3, and be followed by a 4:30 AM EDT mission Tuesday morning. 3 HRD scientists will be on each mission.
NOAA49: The G-IV is in transit to Honolulu, scheduled to arrive tomorrow. The G-IV is tasked by the Central Pacific Hurricane Center (CPHC) for synoptic surveillance missions around Hurricane Norman beginning Tuesday, Sept. 4. No HRD scientists will participate in these missions.
