NOAA42: The P-3 Hurricane Hunter aircraft is currently transiting to Bermuda with scientists from HRD aboard. They are positioning for upcoming research flights into Tropical Storm Florence.
NOAA49: No flights are scheduled
Saturday, September 8, 2018
NOAA42: HRD and NESDIS research-tasked mission into Tropical Storm Florence is expected to takeoff at 9:00 AM EDT (1200 UTC), to and from Bermuda.
NOAA49: The G-IV aircraft is scheduled to fly around Florence and collect environmental observations. Takeoff is planned for 1:30 PM EDT (1730 UTC) from Lakeland and landing in St. Croix.
