OPERACIONES

Friday, Sept. 6, 2013

G-IV:  Is ferrying down to St. Criox from MacDill AFB. They took off at 1500 UTC (11AM Eastern). No HRDers will be on this flight.

NOAA42:  Is ferrying down to St. Croix from Tampa. They took off time is scheduled for 1515 UTC (11:15AM Eastern). NOAA 42 is performing an TC-Ocean Interaction Experiment during the ferry down to St. Croix.  Four HRD scientists are on this flight.

NOAA43:  Is ferrying down to St. Croix from Tampa. They took off at 1552 UTC (11:52AM Eastern). Two HRD scientists are on this flight.

Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013

G-IV:  Is tasked by HRD to fly an HWRF model evaluation research mission. Take off time is scheduled for 1400 UTC (10AM Eastern) from St Croix with recovery back in St. Croix. The G-IV will fly the remnants of Gabrielle. No HRDers will be on this flight.

NOAA42:  Is tasked by HRD to fly an HWRF Model Evaluation Experiment in the remnants of Tropical Storm Gabrielle.  Three HRD scientists will be on this flight. Take off time is scheduled for ~1400 UTC (10AM Eastern) from St. Croix with recovery back in St. Croix. NOAA42 will fly a TDR-like flight pattern.

NOAA43:  Is tasked by HRD to fly an HWRF Model Evaluation Experiment in the remnants of Tropical Storm Gabrielle. Three HRD scientists will be on this flight. Take off time is scheduled for ~1400 UTC (10AM Eastern) from St. Croix with recovery back in St. Croix.  NOAA43 will fly the various module patterns that are part of the experiment.
