HRD researchers and our collaborators from the NSF-sponsored Organization of Tropical Eastern Pacific Convection (OTREC) experiment discussed the results from the 4 P-3 and 3 NCAR G-V HIAPER missions into EP95 which eventually became Hurricane Ivo in the Eastern Pacific. IFEX flew 4 P-3 missions from Liberia, Costa Rica into the disturbance that became Ivo, two of the days in coordination with the NCAR/NSF G-V and the OTREC Field Campaign. The debrief provided an overview of the EP95/Pre-Ivo missions followed by presentations about the case and an overview of OTREC.
