Professional InterestsBrittany is a member of the data assimilation (DA) and observing system simulations experiment (OSSE) teams at HRD. Her research focuses on improving tropical cyclone prediction by assimilating data from airborne platforms, particularly uncrewed aircraft systems such as the NASA Global Hawk and Raytheon Coyote. She is also involved in assessing the impact of satellite radiance data from the TROPICS CubeSat constellation. Brittany holds B.S. (2011) and M.S. (2014) degrees in meteorology from the University of Oklahoma.
