Hightlights of Missions into Hurricane Teddy 2020
Tuesday, September 15, 2020 to Tuesday, September 22, 2020
NOAA completed 3 OAR-tasked G-IV missions and 5 P-3 missions (tasked by
a combination of OAR, NESDIS, and NHC) into Hurricane Teddy.
The majority of missions were conducted from St. Croix, USVI with one from
Patuxent River, MD.
CIMAS/HRD scientists were on board and provided remote support from the
ground. Maintenance and pandemic-related issues cancelled two planned
missions (one G-IV and one P-3) and shortened one P-3 mission.
