A special evening session was held during the AMS's 26th Conference on Hurricanes and Tropical Meteorology in Miami Beach, FL during the week of May 3-7, 2004. The purpose was to familiarize the attendees with the wide range of hurricane data available through the World Wide Web by various U.S. Government agencies.
