The South Atlantic Regional Data Center aims to provide various products that show the state of the Atlantic Ocean between 20N and 40S.

Currently, three products are derived from hydrographic profiles collected by Argo floats and other instruments. Two of them were developed by the NOAA Atlantic Oceanographic and Meteorological Laboratory (AOML). One product shows various maps and cross-sections that depict the annual mean state in the upper ocean. The other product shows the properties of the mixed layer (thickness, temperature and heat storage rate) as monthly fields. The third product presents seasonal climatological fields of temperature and salinity. It was developed by CEADO (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
