Kevin Sullivan is a Senior Research Associate in the University of Miami's Cooperative Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Studies (CIMAS) located at the Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science (RSMAS). He received his MS in analytical chemistry at Texas A&M University and began working at RSMAS in 1985. Kevin designs, builds, deploys, and repairs instrumental systems for trace gas analyses. Since joining the Ocean Carbon Cycle group in 2000, he has participated in several field studies employing a deliberate tracer gas (SF6) though most of his analytical focus has been dissolved CO2 and the carbonate equilibrium. In addition to instrumental and logistical operations, Kevin processes and manages data collected in the SOOP-CO2 program.
