The Executive Officer
The Executive
Officer works with the
Program Management Committee (PMC) and the research
teams to implement the activities of the Florida Bay science program and
communicate results to resource managers. Three
main areas of activity are developing ecological performance measures, conducting
synthesis activities, and managing the development and application of predictive models. The Implementation Plan
describes these activities in more detail.
The Executive Officer
has primary responsibility for communications with managers responsible for ecosystem
restoration and with the Florida Bay Science Oversight Panel. The Executive Officer also reviews elements of the
science program for gaps and assists cooperating agencies to implement research guided by
the goals and priorities of the Program.
