GTS Near-real Time Data & AOML Historical XBT Data

The near-real time data is obtained from the Global Telecommunication System (GTS) messages (BATHY and TESAC) and decoded at AOML. The GTS data are available since January 1st, 2001. This interface provides access to near-real time databases (drifters, Xbt and CTD) and to AOML's Xbt historical database. Customers will have also access to the hurricane drifter array and the storm track database. More information here.
