Lindsey Visser is a biogeochemical oceanographer who completed her Master’s degree at Texas A&M University in August 2009. She is currently a Research Associate with the University of Miami's Cooperative Institute for Marine and Atmospheric Studies (CIMAS) and works in the Ocean Chemistry and Ecosystems Division at the AOML. Her research focuses on water quality monitoring in South Florida Coastal waters. She also investigates how changes in water quality relate to juvenile sportfish populations and their habitat in Florida Bay as part of the everglades restoration program. She manages all the EAM fieldwork and water quality databases for the South Florida coastal waters.
