Engines: 2 Cummins 903VT diesel engines (340 hp/720 ft lbs. torque)
Generator: 8 kw Northern Lights generator providing 30AMPS at 240vac
Personnel: 1 Captain, 1 crew member and 8 science members.
Radar/Chart Plotters: Furuno Navnet Vx2 10.4” and 7.6” Chart Plotter, Furuno 49" open array 64 nm color radar
Bottom sounders: Furuno 1kw, 50 kHz and 200 kHz color echo sounder, Raymarine 50kHz bottom sounder

Crusing: 60 nm @ 25 knots. Maximum speed 39 knots.
Engines: Yamaha 200 HP Two Cycle outboard motor, 95 gallon fuel tank.
Personnel: 1 Operator in Charge (OIC), 1 Crew member, and up to 3 scientists
Construction: all fiberglass construction with hull, deck and cockpit molded as separate units. The bottom of the hull is V-shaped and hard chine.
Oceanographic equipment: Small J-frame and mini winch with 50lb SWL
Seawater washdown pump.
12 volt DC electrical system, Garmin GPS Standard Horizon VHF radio am.
