ARGO - Delayed-mode Float Post-DMQC analysis
SAARC Region - Version 1.2 07 Oct 2009

Each float being analyzed has a basic float page, and a set of individual profile pages. Links to examples of a basic float page and two profile pages are given below (for float 1900287).

Most figures are 1/2 to 1/3 size, and link to full-sized figures. These are surrounded by a colored box.

Three tables are provided to allow direct access to each floats' page: One table just lists all floats being analyzed (sorted by the WMO Id). A second table lists all the data centers, with links to a separate table for each data centers' floats. Finally, a third table lists all principal investigators, with links to a list of floats for each of the PIs.

Each float is compared to four data sets:
1. The Levitus WOA05 global monthly climatology - 1 degree resolution in latitude and longitude, monthly mean and standard deviation for temperature and salinity at 14 depths between 400m and 2000m.
2. The Navy GDEM3 global monthly climatology - quarter degree resolution in latitude and longitude, monthly mean for temperature and salinity at 15 depths between 400 and 2000m.
3. Scripps Institution of Oceanography (SIO ARGO-only climatology. - 1 degree resolution in latitude and longitude, monthly mean and standard deviation for temperature and salinity at 29 levels between 400 and 2000 dbar. In this case, the comparison are performed at pressure levels, not depth levels.
4. Subsurface profile data from all available Argo profiles, CTD, XBT, and other types of profiles as available. All profiles within a selected time/distance "box" are termed "buddies". For this comparison 10 days and 150km were used as the envelope. For a given profile being analyzed, any other profiles 10 days before or after the target time that were within 150 km were used as "buddies" for the target profile.

The summary plots show the mean and standard deviation of the differences in temperature and salinity between float profiles and the four comparison data sets by float. Hot spots to floats are available after following the links to individual summary plots.
