Lat-Depth Movie (17MB) Movie formats can vary. They are currently as animated gifs, but they can also be in QT or MPG formats, which are more compact (Example)

Data Points (17MB) This movie shows the data points from which the previous frames were created. The ugly small scale features shown in that movie are from areas where warm and colder pixels stand together.It is clear that data must be cleaned before processing

Season1 (4 MB) The same as the first movie but only data between Jan and Mar was selected

Season2 (4 MB) Same as before with data between Apr and Jun

Season3 (4 MB) Same as before with data between Jul and Sep

Season4 (4 MB) Same as before with data between Oct and Dec

Mean Temperature Section GIF This picture shows the mean Temperature section along the line. Latitude grid resolution is 0.5 degrees.
Seasonal Mean Temperature Section GIF The same as above but for 3month averages.

Other products are possible (anomalies, Lat-Time Diagrams , ...). This is a first approximation and other perspectives can be addressed (new filtering techniques, select more suitable espatial and temporal windows, ...) and I expect constructive critics after viewing it.
