Jul 11: Departure from Miami. Sampling started at 23:00. 2. Jul 12: Pipette did not fill. Salinity cell did not fill all the times. Salinity was not registered. 3. Jul 13: The problem was solved: The sample bottle was pressurized restricting the out flow through the bottle. Data Reduction and Quality Control: 1. The data from the beginning of the cruise has not been reduced: the CRM values were very much off and seabird did not record salinity. 2. The salinity correction was done where TSG salinity was available. 3. CRM correction: Dickson CRM batch #42 and Millero CRM batch#2 were used to correct the data. The certified values for the batches are: Dickson CRM batch #42: 1985.1 Millero CRM Batch #2: 2027.3 The results obtained from each cell were corrected individually. The difference of the measured and certified value of CRM: 7/13-7/14: 1.929 (MCRM) 7/14: -0.117 (DCRM) 7/15: 0.557 (DCRM) 7/16-7/17: 2.47 (DCRM) 7/17: 4.981 (DCRM) 7/17-7/18: -0.27 (MCRM) 7/18: -2.284 (MCRM) 7/18: 1.203 (MCRM) 7/19: -0.659 (MCRM) 7/20: 5.756 (DCRM) 7/21: 5.91 (DCRM) 7/22: 4.895 (DCRM) 3. LAT and LONG were added. 4. Quality control: The following plots were created and used to evaluate the data: TCO2 vs. Julian Time TCO2 vs. LAT TCO2 vs. LONG Chlorophyll vs. Julian Time Chlorophyll vs. LAT Chlorophyll vs. LONG Chlorophyll vs. TCO2 Temperature vs. TCO2 Salinity vs. TCO2 fCO2 (water) vs. TCO2 fCO2 (air) vs. TCO2
