Jun 28: Departure from Azores. The system hang up at 12:51. It was restarted at 15:48. At 23:30 acid did not drip properly to the stripper. 2. Jun 30: At 00:30 salt bridge in the liquid level sensor. 3. Jul 1: At 23:05 the system was noisy and magnesium perchlorate trap was changed. 4. Jul 2: At 2:30 Ship wide power failure. High blank: 1/4"-1/8" plastic fitting connected to stripper was changed. 5. Jul 3: At 19:30 the system was noisy and magnesium perchlorate trap was changed. 6. Jul 4: At 04:00 the system was noisy and magnesium perchlorate trap was changed. 7. Jul 6: The system hang up at 14:52. It was restarted at 15:34. The system was shut down at 15:50. 8. Jul 7: Arrival to Miami. Data Reduction and Quality Control: 1. Salinity correction was applied for all the samples. 2. CRM correction: Dickson CRM batch #42 and Millero CRM batch#2 were used to correct the data. The certified values for the batches are: Dickson CRM batch #42: 1985.1 Millero CRM Batch #2: 2027.3 The results obtained from each cell were corrected individually. The difference of the measured and certified value of CRM: 1.498 CRM 6/29-6/30: 1985.1 -0.439 MCRM 6/30-7/1: 2027.3 1.183 CRM 7/1-7/2: 1985.1 3.458 CRM 7/2-7/3: 1985.1 2.569 MCRM 7/3-7/4: 2027.3 3.172 CRM 7/4-7/5: 1985.1 4.439 CRM 7/5-7/6: 1985.1 3.117 MCRM 7/6-7/7: 2027.3 3. Some of the CRM values were hand calculated, because the SOMMA program had malfunctioned. 2. Salinity correction was applied for the samples. 3.HgCl2 correction was applied (cDIC*1.00037) 4.CRM correction was applied: An average of the two CRMs was calculated ((1999.96+1999.41)/2=1999.69 and the difference of that value and the certified value was used to correct the data (1999.69-1994.64=5.05). 5. LAT, LONG, temperature, chlorophyll, fCO2w (insitu) and fCO2a were merged to this dataset.
