NOAA 42RF will fly an NHC-tasked reconnaissance mission into Tropical Disturbance AL93 in the Gulf of Mexico. The P-3 will leave MacDill AFB, FL 2000 UTC and will recover back at MacDill by 0400 UTC the next day.

Problems :
A chip light went on during the flight on their return to base. Upon landing NOAA 42RF was taken down for maintenance and the subsequent TDR mission was cancelled.
