Lessons
learned:
¥ The G-IV is usually at the mercy of air traffic control, so
draw up the flights plan using as few points as possible (makes track changes easier)
¥ Try to anticipate upcoming track changes as early as possible
(give time for air traffic control
to respond)
¥Send a monthly tithing to
NRL (for using their TPW satellite imagery)
¥ Remove the RUM EXperiment (RUMEX) module from the HFP &
DONÓT try to keep up with the G-IV crew
¥ DonÕt start a season without first giving AOC a ÒprebriefÓ
