¥ Sample the SAL around TS Irene to:
2) Sample the gradients along the
SALÕs boundaries3) assess how well
the GFS was representing the SALÕs dry air (10-30% RH)
& strong winds (25-30 kt @ 700mb) 1) Understand how
the SAL was affecting the TC inner core (especially on
IreneÕs east side)
