Bilko Download Request Form =========================== Thank you for your interest in the Bilko computer- based learning of remote sensing programme of Unesco and for filling in the Bilko Download Request Form. You can download the zipped files using ftp from the Newcastle anonymous ftp server ftp.ncl.ac.uk using the User ID "anonymous" (without the quotes) and your e-mail address as password. The files are in the subdirectory /pub/users/nbilko. Alternatively, you can download using your browser from the URL: http://www.ncl.ac.uk/tcmweb/bilko/download.htm Click on the appropriate Download ... active sites. If set up appropriately your browser should automatically download the zipped files. However, if you are asked for a User ID: use "anonymous" (without the quotes!), and if you are asked for a password: enter your e-mail address. Then follow the instructions from the browser software. You will then be asked where on your hard disk you want to save the file (make sure you have enough disk space!). The download seems to work fine with Netscape version 3 or later. You may need to adjust your browser default settings if you find you have problems. If after several tries you are unable to download the materials then e-mail admin@unesco.bilko.org who have a limited supply of all the modules on CD-ROM and manuals for Module 7. Good luck with the lessons!
