Yeah, I think the problem with my controller is that I used DSX beforehand and the profile is conflicting with steam's settings.

Yeah, that usually only happens with new movies I download and I've gotten much better about testing them before committing them to the drive(s). Unfortunately, some of them were the best quality (read: screeners of varying quality) at the time they were downloaded and I've never updated that. 

Ooof. That's unfortunate. Wonder what is causing that. Probably a driver issue. Does it do it in both wired and wireless mode?

I haven't run into any movies being in another language. Other than The Cube the only other thing to mention is the handcam footage of Iron Man 2. I'm pretty much gonna be relying on this hard drive to carry me through the rest of the trip. I forgot to mention it before but my PS5 controller has been bugging out and I can't fix the control scheme on any games (I can't jump in Portal 2 and R2 is pause in Hollow Knight).

Glad that you're getting on well with the captain and crew. 

It's a good sign that they want you to play, but I get it, my clock gets off wildly when I'm out there and I sleep  after breakfast and most of the day, so doing things isn't always great or easy. 

Okay. as for the arrival, we can wait another day or two to start looking at booking stuff for you. 

I wouldn't be surprised if your end is working fine with multiple emails, but we've been having issues here, so I wanted to let you know that it might not get to everyone.

I'm glad that the hard drive is working out. Sorry that The Cube was only half. I've been building my library over a number of years and the second half could have gotten lost or I may have downloaded it just to have and never watched it to check. I've definitely had issues before with things I downloaded for a trip and not checked before putting on the drive and they end up being in another language with a second different language subtitle. neither of those being English.

Trust me I had issues too, this ftp system isn't the most intuitive. I'm doing well with the captain and crew. I get into some conversations every now and then when I leave my room. They also have been trying to get me to play ping pong, but between the inconsistent sleep, diminished snacks (I ran out of Pringles), and now the boat constantly rocking, I haven't had the energy to go. I may go at some point as I'm finally getting used to everything. We should be getting to Algeciras on the 17th. In regards to your other message, I've been able to send to multiple recipients fine and Pedro has even responded to one I sent a couple of hours ago. Either way, I'll keep things simple and send one at a time now. Also you probably know that there's a big gap in the drops from a couple of days ago, I hope that doesn't cause too much trouble.


P.S.
Your hard drive was a god-send. I didn't know Netflix downloads expire so I've been using your hard drive and I've watched somewhere around 8 and a half movies (The Cube was missing half of the film -_-).

Hey Christopher,

I am finally mostly confident in my setup of the ftpmail to contact you. I had some issues in the beginning of your cruise, but Pedro has been keeping me updated.

Your drops are looking good. 

Have you gotten on well with the captain and the crew? 

Any word from them on when you're going to likely be getting into port in Algeciras?
