There is definitely something grabbing the serial port not allowing 
rasdial to transmit. I wonder what it could be.....

I'll think about it over the next two days to see what I can figure out.

Hello Pedro,

I didn't lose any XBT's because I had just finished my cycle and was going to reload everything.

I had to restart the computer a bunch of times already to send profiles/messages or receive messages. I would see fail connection error on the transmitter interface.

Hi Patrick,

You should sop dropping XBT's until you start moving again. I've had this happen before it's not the 
best situation but you take the good with the bad.

In the past I've asked the captain for an estimate as to when the ship will start moving again
and take it from there.

Did you lose any XBT's while you were stopped?

I'll tell Zach as he might have additional advice.
