from:ax07 to:lu02@noaa.gov subject:Re: Re re-sending message Hi Pedro, Hmm. interesting about the truncated code. So, I looked at it a little bit more, I checked the original .txt file that was sent to me in the archive. There, it looks like everything is correct. Going back to the localhost page, the message is truncated again. So I know the text is there, but the ftpmail page does not want to show all of it. And I did scroll all the way down the text window on the page and it's just cut off. There has to be some sort of truncation with the text window in the php or html. Maybe only so many lines? I dunno. As for Amverseas, I haven't figured everything out. What aside from moving stuff from the archive and historyprofiles needs to be edited to make amverseas think that I have only done this cruise? Obviously if it's one file, I'll make a copy and put it in the archive of the older data and then remove that older data from the non-backup. Also, there shouldn't be a message size limit, I'll have to look into that. Maybe I truncated the code when I copy/pasted it. Yes I think 600m was the cut off point so you're good. Anyhow, great troubleshooting! Essentially a manual "start new cruise" so that the cruise report reflects only this cruise?) "subject:New Mail System Test and Issues Hi Pedro, So it looks like I was able to get your changes up and running. I can do the configure window now and it seems to hold. Let's see what happens with that. There were some issues with it that I was able to figure out. I saw one in copying the original message into the file, the other I suspected was the same thing and was able to find it and fix it. Either due to some arbitrary constraint you put in or to a bad copy when you pasted the text into the message, the bottom of the composewindow.php and message.php files was cut off. Everything appeared to work, but this removed the "send" and the "reply" buttons. They are now there after comparing them to the previous versions. I saw the composewindow.php issue when copying it and changed it first so I was able to actually see a send button. The message.php one was more difficult to find, but after a bit, I found my way to the file and was able to get it fixed and working correctly. If this was installed from scratch or pulled from your GIT I suspect it would have been fine. This is mostly a reminder that there is some sort of limit on the length of the message? That's the only thing I can think of that would have led to that. " Other than what I have here and the transmission queue issue, there were some issues with the ftp path, which I had changed to /XBT/ in the configure window which seemed to have broken the get_messages script, but I eventually figured that out by process of elimination.
