from:ax07 to:lu02@noaa.gov subject:Re: Re Test Definitely dropping faster than I'd like. Last I heard from the bridge, they're planning on stopping somewhere this side of Gibraltar before heading in. If that's the case, I'm not sure how that would go for the cruise. I imagine that we'll anchor somewhere closer to 200m depth. Should I stop the cruise when we get to where we stop, or should I wait and only pack it up after hitting the exact place? I'm inclined to say that it won't be any real good since we'd be going closer to the coast and probably within 200m depth most of the way and pack up while we're stopped. I'll look into it and let you know when it looks like we'll be stopping and what my plan is. Input on that is appreciated. Good luck out there, Pedro ax07 wrote: from:ax07 to:lu02@noaa.gov subject:Test Hi Pedro, Just testing here, making sure that the email is still working. Haven't heard anything in a couple of days. Currently, we've sped up a lot to get past some swell that we're currently experiencing. So right now, we're going 19 on average, which would put us near the port on the morning of the 8th, but they say that they're gonna change speed once we're past the swell. Who knows. According to the officer I talked to on the bridge, it's very unlikely that we'll be allowed to dock early if we are there, so still set for the 9th arrival. Ricardo has arranged my flights. Once I sign in to the ship's internet today, I'm sure I'll see my ticket confirmations etc. Best regards, Zach
