So, I think so far, the updates are working. It appears that the sent box is there and empty (because this will be the first thing I send with the updates. 

I noticed that the sample version of get_messages you sent was different from the version I had with the if statement for the tmp directory. I edited mine to reflect yours (yours has permissions editing, we'll see if this messes up the get messages for me and if i does, I'll revert.)

Okay. As to why the messages aren't being displayed, It took me a bit, but I figured it out. The problem was the other files you were sending. I figured that it was weird that it randomly started and then it would display two messages, then only one. And then I made the connection between the changes. You had sent me new files. Right now, the inbox page does not know what to do with the zip and png files you sent me and would only display the latest messages that were sent after that. Once I moved the files entirely to a different folder, lo and behold, it works. 

If that is something you mentioned when you first sent a file, I missed it. But if this happens in the future, we know why and can warn people or fix it. 

Looks like it's working fine now. 

It seems to me a bit like the iridium connection works a little better at night, but I don't know for sure and will have to check.
