Due to these issues, we were about 15 minutes late for our invest time. This mission was an invest into a system in the Bay of Campeche. We approached from the northeast quadrant to 20.7N 95.4W for an 1800Z invest time. After we hit those coordinates, we were not seeing any indications of a center and continued as far SW as we could go until we were near land. Winds were steadily out of the SE the entire time. CARCAH had us then turn north until 22N, then come back to the SE (20N) and head home. Again, no indications of a circulation. We had a few issues on the flight. First, the hygrometer began reading values higher than the TA at 1900Z (and fixed itself around 1940Z). Then, we had SAT phone issues the entire time we were in the WRA (getting error messages like SAT UNREG/NO SIM/OFFLINE). We also had an EGI 1 fail at 2050Z and switched to system F. Finally, we had a blue screen of death on approach at around FL020.
