The 05H flight was too diffuse and disorganized to be processable.


WARNING: There are two similar anomalies in global profiles 1 and 10.
         PROFILE 1: As the plane approached the center, the vertical
                    wind began spiking up and down starting at 
                    about 114km from the center, then a very large
                    upward spike occurred, and the reading settled
                    down at about 95.5km. The radial and tan winds
                    also look slightly suspicious.
         PROFILE 10: From about 70km to 78.5km, the vertical
                     wind began spiking up and down. Also, over
                     almost the same interval (70.5km to 77.5km)
                     the radial wind dropped sharply, from an
                     average of about -2 m/s to nearly -13 m/s,
                     and remained at a suspiciously low value for
                     the rest of the pass. At the same time, the
                     tangential wind spiked down, up and down again.
         I have not tried to correct these; I am not absolutely
         sure they are bad data rather than rare but genuine anomalies;
         I also do not know of any correction that can be applied - 
         especially to the drop in tan wind in profile # 10. I leave it
         to the user to decide whether to make corrections.
WARNING: Profile # 6 has a severe fluctuation in isobaric height
         between about 75 km to 90km from the center. This is due
         to the aircraft descending from 410m to 250m. It was 
         impossible to correct for this during the processing,
         so this section of data probably should not be used.
WARNING: LESLIE00 was never very strong or well-organixed, and
         its passage over Florida between the 03I and 04I flights
         didn't help the situation. The post-season analysis is
         less reliable with weak storms, so this data should be used
         with circumspection, if at all.
