REMARKS:
10 RECCOs, 6 good dropsondes (7 total, 1 failed), 2 VDMs (25 total obs)
This was a 21/1730Z fix mission into Tropical Storm Bret. The center was estimated to be at 13.1N 53.2W and we entered from the NW to the SE, then to the NE quadrant, and ended in the SW quadrant with drops at the end points and center points. The storm was a Tropical Storm when we entered and stayed the same throughout the mission. We flew at FL050 and the storm was a little messy with a broad center. For the second pass, the ARWO pallet crashed at the fix time, and the dropsonde failed so we had to swing back and fix it again. As far as issues, our main problem today was Mission Manager crashing during the second fix. Additionally, I got the "Mission File Empty" error on Graph Manager and the Mission Manager data was flashing red for about 25 minutes starting at 1535Z.
