The center was estimated to be at 33.8N 65.2W and we entered from the SW to the NE, then to the NW quadrant, and ended at the SE quadrant with drops at the center points. The storm was going through extratropical transition, so we flew at FL100 on the first pass. It was a pretty messy fix, and estimated at flight level to be about a 1/2 degree from the LLC showing on satellite. For the second pass, we dropped to FL050 and had an easier time making the fix. For Additionally, for the first fix, the dropsonde failed in the center. Then, during the second pass, the Td was reading warmer than T so we had to do a mission manager restart and the SFMR lost connection (leading to the 0kt SFMR wind on that fix).
