Mission ID: 1514A MICHAEL Tail #: 5301 Take-off time: 10/10/18 13:13 Flight hours: 5.5 ARWO: DeHart Comments: Legs were cut essentially in half by land restrictions, as well as to get as many fixes as possible before landfall.  Final fix (inbound from S)...MOST TURBULENCE I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED.  We loitered in the eye for a bit so we could gather ourselves and take the time to find a smoother exit out. Equipment: All was working well until the inbound leg on the 3rd fix (NE quad).  Realized at outbound exit point I had not been sent the inbound eyewall drop. Asked the load who said he sent it. He tried sending again multiple times, showed "transfer success" on AVAPS but never received it so was unable to xmit it (but we do have the drop file in our mission data). Fortunately I DID receive the center drop for this fix. However, after a restart of the Load pallet, all remaining sondes went "dead" so no more sondes were released (including the last/4th center fix). Problems: DROP Pallet;#Dropsondes
