DEPARTMENT OF THE AIR FORCE Air Force Reserve Command MEMORANDUM FOR ARWO Scheduler 14 Aug 15 FROM: 53 WRS Flight Meteorologist SUBJECT: Mission Summary Report G E N E R A L I N F O R M A T I O N ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- | Mission Type | Deploy/Redeploy | | Tasking | redeploy Guillermo and Hilda | | Mission ID | 5303 WXWXC 150814185837303 | | Departure Base/Time | PHNL 08/14/15 17:45 | | Arrival Base/Time | KSUU 08/15/15 00:04 | | Flight Time | 6.3 hours | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- C R E W R O S T E R ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- |AC | AllenC | |CP | Heinz, Olson, Jones | |Nav | PriceD | |ARWO | Hendry, Gautrau (E) | |LM | Jordan, Barnaby (I) | |OTHER| oodles of mx | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- REMARKS: See previous 400mb HSS: 7585 from sonde, did a systems check from FL250 near that point. MSN ID ERROR: Started a new mission after the first RECCO, after the error in MSN ID was pointed out. CARCAH modified the msn ID on RECCO1, then I started with ob2 on this mission SATCOMS FROM OTHER ACFT: Shortly after the reboot, the SATCOM box went red (not even sure if it was green when we first came up) and the VDC-300 was red on the sys health page. Then I got an HDOB from 5309 and a RECCO from 5305, both destined for NHC. I logged out, recycled both radios and rebooted MM. No probs since then. HYGROMETER COM4: Hygrometer sort of repaired itself... the COM4 came up green during flight, and after turning the unit back on, it came up servolock, but a lot of vertical bars obscured the display Had to reboot MM to get it to take the TD (it was still showing red) SOLITAIRE: After launching a sonde, I hit CTRL-M to do a sys check, the cascading "you won solitaire" windows came up: Access violation 006E02AB Read of address 000001A0 CTRL-ALT-DEL to end MM, and append. ok for now. The next sys check went fine. GPS DROPOUT There were at least two instances of the GPS suddenly dropping about 10m... but otherwise trending the same as the RADALT... however, this resulted in the GPS reading lower than it should (RA was closer to chart heights). There were no changes in altitude or turns during this time.
