From the 11PM discussion:
"The Air Force Reserve Hurricane Hunter aircraft
investigating the cyclone this evening found peak flight-level winds
of 79 kt at 5,000 ft, but these were in an area of limited deep
convection southeast of the center. Several SFMR winds of around 55
kt in the convection support maintaining the initial intensity at 60
kt for this advisory."

REMARKS:
Tasked for AL072014, 0307A,  FAY.
23:30z fix at original point of 30.1N, 65.2W
(changed to 30.3N, 65.1W enroute from CARCAH via SATCOM)

Drop 1 (enroute drop):  20:35:30zulu
Plane HSS 7563 SWS winds light and vrb
Sond HSS 7573 sonde winds 4kts

4 additional sondes dropped
One to measure winds on north side cross leg
One to measure max wind band in NW quad
One for first center drop
one for second center drop

Dewpoint Hygrometer had problems on and off for duration of flight. It
contantly had problems getting and maintaining SERVOLOCK.  Wrote up in
Forms.  Kept "Seeking DP, Heating, Cooling". Tried all troubleshooting
techniques.
