Not sure why only 15 mins, when we have a single Alpha pattern tasked, not as if this saves fuel or crew duty day! Then we had a delay, despite attempting to take off early, due to lack of specific nav charts in the database. Ended up taking off nearly 25 mins later than planned. Made up some time by speeding up. So much for fuel conservation. 8 drops total. 5 on first leg; SE turnpt, eyewall, eye, eyewall, NW turnpt. 3 drops on final leg; eye, eyewall, and NE turnpt. (mad bomber and his trainee on duty). radar display/ on second eyewall run-in was marginal; relayed to mx.
