Job Offer Areas of Concern

I appreciate the opportunity to be considered for the OCD Webmaster position. As communicating is an integral part of the overall objectives of research, I feel my abilities could contribute to the achievements of this division. Being a full time student, I must ask for certain concessions to be considered, most importantly of which will be my scheduling.

Area of Responsibility

  1. Addition of CHAMP will add an estimated 5-10 hours to an average work week.
  2. Due to the fluctuating workload (as has been my experience) occasionally times will arise where surplus hours will be necessary in order to get the job done.  Although it would be ideal to get paid for these excess hours, I understand that matters of budgeting are involved. I might suggest that I work these surplus hours when needed, and get paid for a fixed hour work week, if in turn I could later balance out those surplus hours to use for college related, personal (including sickness and mini-vacations) purposes; especially near mid-term and finals.
  3. The assumption has been made, on my part, that my responsibilities will continue to be similar to the past two years. If additional demands are made, it is reasonable ask that primary responsibilities shall be either maintained or shifted to a secondary nature.

It would be advantageous to have a singular control mechanism to allocate the priority of work assignments, insuring satisfactory conditions for performance benefiting the division.

Future Prospects

  1. What are the chances that a position will be available to me in the future that will provide long-term security?
  2. Will I be considered for a more permanent position with benefits and higher pay should one come available?
  3. Upon completion of training and educational levels, will there be advancement commensurate to my achievements?
