Environmental Studies of Anthropologic Discharges in the Coastal Zone:

Transport of material in the coastal environment is best described in terms of Sources, Pathways, and Sinks. Sources may be natural or anthropogenic. Pathways provide the means by which material may be transported to a Sink, where the material is subsequently deposited.
