raw - data edited for data spikes,
calibrated and checked for time and geographic continuity
3hlp - 3 hour lowpass filtered data from
edited time series
40hlp - 40 hour lowpass (de-tided) filtered
data from the 3hlp time series
Current components - U + toward east; V + toward north

Niskin Wing Current Meter Configuration
NWCM MK II ---- Instrument serial numbers greater than 300
Parameters: Vector averaged velocity components, water temperature, conductivity
Sampling configuration: Vector averaging mode with switch settings:
20 minute sample interval
16 readings/burst
2 sec burst interval
Measurement = one sample taken every 20 minutes, vector averaged over 32 seconds
NWCM MK I ----- Instrument serial numbers less than 300
Parameters: Current speed, current direction, water temperature
Sampling configuration: Non-averaging mode with switch settings:
60 minute sample interval
4 readings/burst
2.6 second burst interval
Measurement = Four samples once every hour recorded over a period of 10.4 seconds
