Dr. Chunzai Wang graduated from the Physical Oceanography Program of the University of South Florida in 1995. He has
been a Research Oceanographer at NOAA/AOML since 2000. His research interests focus on the role of ocean-atmosphere
interactions in global and regional climate processes and ocean circulation. In particular, his research includes
Pacific climate variability, Atlantic climate variability, and tropical ocean circulation. To better describe and
understand the ocean-atmosphere climate system, he conducts both observational and numerical modeling studies as well
as theoretical study.
